Some things are beautiful because they are dangerous.

At the centre, a hexagonal salt and pepper diamond — dark, heavily included, sparkling like ash caught in firelight. The band begins as one, then separates into three roman columns that rise toward the stone, finding each corner. Architecture built for something that cannot be contained.

Two pear cut natural diamonds sit beside it. The calm before.

Named for a volcano that buried a civilisation in beauty.
